Melia Hotels International has opened its first hotel in Myanmar, the Melia Yangon, in Yangon, the country’s capital city. It is a strategic project for the company’s Asia Pacific region. The city is known for its historical colonial buildings and is the country’s largest commercial hub. The Melia is situated on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, near the Shwedagon Pagoda and adjacent to Myanmar Plaza.
Melia Yangon is the first Melia hotel in Myanmar and features panoramic views of Lake Inya. The hotel’s location is ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
